registered charity number 1123174

We are one of the largest pedigree rescue organisations in the Cat Fancy with area representatives across the United Kingdom

Genuine offers of homes always needed - single cat homes often required especially for older cats - whose devoted owner may have died,  or for health reasons are no longer able to care for their beloved Birman.  These cats have much love to give, average age 6 - 10 years - not considered old for a Birman, take a look at our Veterans pages.

Abandoned or lost we care for them while we try and find the owner or a thoroughly vetted home

All cats are spayed or neutered before leaving our care vaccinations are brought up to date if required

Occasionally we have younger Birmans,  very rarely kittens - these are returned to their breeder where possible

It is not the policy of the Birman Rescue to re-house ex breeding stock unless in exceptional circumstances, we believe this to be the responsibility of individual breeders
