The draw for the Birman Cat Club Raffle was held on November 5th in Rugby at the 28th Birman Show.
Sally Tokens one of our senior judges pulled out the winning tickets assisted by John Culf. a former committee member.
The first prize of £200 was won by Mr S Murton., and a cheque for £200 is already on its way to him.
The second prize of £50 was won by Ross Johnson. Ross’s parents were exhibiting at the show and were able to accept the cheque from Treasurer Jim Warrender on his behalf.
I would like to thank all those who sold or bought raffle tickets, especially Janet Francis, Angela Walker and Ron Mylnek, who must have lots of generous friends.
Another group who I would like to thank are those who not only bought tickets but sent in donations. Your generosity is really appreciated.
To date I have banked almost £900, and still have a small amount of cash to collect, a wonderful result.
