'BOHAIR ITEMS'

The bag and the Easter Eggs were made by Adriana Smith
a Northern Ireland member of the Birman Cat Club,
from the hair of her pet, Panjandrum Shula, which she gave to Anne Madden as an
Easter gift.
Adriana has not spun the hair, but rolled it into yarn and then knitted it to
make the bag.
The blue leather trimming represents the Birman blue eyes and the pink silk
lining the pink paw pads.
A really remarkable effort, and a extra special Easter gift.
January 2005 and Adriana
does it again, this time slippers and a little mouse.
The slippers are made from Bo's hair moultings.
Adriana researched the art of felt making, and after much blood, toil,
tears and sweat
produced the slippers, which are beautifully soft and warm.
The mouse is made from the tail hair combings of Bo a seal point.
